Basic knowledge of the military
=> No necessary condition.

Basic strategy
=> 100% in "Basic knowledge of the military" to exceed 5%

Basic tactic
=> 100% in "Basic knowledge of the military" to exceed 20%

Advanced strategy
=> 100% in "Basic strategy" to exceed 10%
+100% in "Basic strategy" and "Basic Tactic" to exced 50%
+ 100% in "Basics of History" to exceed 70%

How create an army

You need to be level 3 player, 2x lord and play for one year.

One step : Create Armed retinue and click on Convert to army button

Creation Phase 1/3: 60 state points in army need to be produced to pass to creation stage 2/3

Creation Phase 2/3: Wait for one day to pass to Creation Phase 3/3

Creation Phase 3/3: Choose name and banner for army to have it fully activated.

State points

To win State points:

10 with 100% in "Basic strategy"
10 with "Basic tactic"
30 with 100% in "Advanced strategy"


Usage of Army state points

10 pts to put Marching orders
10 pts to put in recruitment (after creation army is by default in
recruitment state)
10 pts to rally a group into army
5 pts to appoint Logistics Officer
5 pts to appoint Paymaster
1 pt per solder hired (max 2 per day this way)

Basic Seafaring:
- Increased movement probability
- Reduced probability of getting lost
- Increased visibility of the map and winds

Advanced Seafaring:
- Increased movement probability
- Increased chance of receiving bonus
- Reduced probability of getting lost

Astronomy:
- Reduced probability of getting lost
- Further increased visibility of the map and winds

Basic Naval Engineering:
- Reduced probability to get damage
- Gives visibility on the exact condition of the boat

Advanced Naval Engineering:
- Chance to completely avoid a blow(combat or wind) (before damage)

Expert Seafaring:
- Enormously increased visibility of the map and winds
- Enormously reduced the chance to get lost

Basic Naval Combat:
- The combat factor increases by 1

Advanced Naval Combat:
- Reduced chance to be caught by a blow (combat only)
